![]() H ow we can see in the picture above, the bone structure of the tails of the nine-tailedįoxes are made up of small vertebrae that much resemble the phalanges in the human fingers.All three species have the same structure with the bone resalva that the amount of vertebrae changes according to the race.įavorite 'race’,compared to the other two breeds of fox-spirits, the kumiho is who shows beyond the most elongated bones, the largest number of vertebrae. the great length of 6′ 6.75 “ in length stands out easily.Then, in second place herĬousin, Huli jīng, which possess 6 ‘1 ” in length in They tails.and finally the kitsune that possess the smaller tails between the three, with only 5 '3 “ in length. compared with her cousins the kitsune and the Huli jīng. T he kumiho is the entity that has the largest tails of all three. each entity presents very different lengths when examining They tails I n the picture below we can analyze the most common ways to differentiate these three types of mythological spirits:Įven all three having the same number of tails it is possible to notice many differences in these “appendages” which can be significant when you want to recognize the race of these individuals.
